“Three Months” was the time between my mom’s late stage lung cancer diagnosis and her passing away. It was a very intense period of time, but I hope my story can help someone in some ways.

I have always wanted to write about this experience. It may have taken me more than a decade to do so, but I’m finally ready. As I started writing about my caregiving journey, I find myself telling the story of my mom as well. She lived an interesting life and showed me what courage and resilience meant.
